Why am I being charged sales tax?

SetMe relies on two third-party payment processing systems, Paddle and FastSpring, to handle its billing matters. Legally speaking, FastSpring and Paddle are considered the Merchant of Record for SetMe orders. Our e-commerce partners must operate under local tax legislation and orders processed by these platforms are subject to local tax regulations in the end-user's country.
