Connect to the unattended device
To connect to an unattended device, you will need to install the SetMe Expert console. You can establish a connection only if the unattended device is currently Online. The connection is established to the device's console session. You can access the remote device even if it has no physical display (i.e., it's a headless server). Multiple users can connect to the same unattended device – in this case, all of them will be working in the same console session. An unattended device can be password-protected. If so, the correct password must be provided to start a remote session.
You can connect to the unattended device if any of the following conditions are met:
- You are the unattended device owner
- You are an administrator
- The owner has granted you access to the unattended device
In the Last connected column, you can view the most recent time when you or someone else from your organization accessed the remote device.
You can also connect to multiple devices at once from your unattended list.
If valid OS credentials are saved on the remote device, you can use them to sign in once connected to the remote desktop. The credentials are securely stored on the remote device and are not transferred elsewhere.
In the Recent tab, you can view the last 20 devices you connected to.
