- On top of the standard email based two-factor authentication, you can now set up one of the supported authenticator apps, including Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile, Authy, and Microsoft Authenticator, as your two-step verification method. This new enhancement will help make your account even more secure and allow you to sign in using a one-time code generated right on your mobile device. Administrators can also manage the preferred multi-factor authentication options for their users via the web portal.

- This release includes several UX/UI improvements. In particular, the following connection statuses have been renamed to provide a clearer picture of what's happening on the remote end:
- "Offline" has been renamed to "Reconnecting": indicates that the remote user's connection to the internet has been temporarily lost. You will be able to resume working with this user right after their network connection is restored.
- "Logged off" is now displayed as "Signed out": the remote user has signed out of their current OS user account and is currently on the login screen. This occurs when the Client application is running in User mode.

- Introduced significant improvements for SetMe's auto-reconnect capabilities: you can now keep your remote connection alive after a long period of sleep or even a shutdown on either end. Whether you or the remote user is idle for up to 3 days, you will now be able to automatically reconnect and continue your work.
- Added support for macOS 10.13 High Sierra to the Client application.
- Improved the High Speed image quality mode for better color rendering.
- Updated the macOS permission dialog with a link to a relevant help center article.
- Clarified SetMe's licensing structure and explained the meaning of SetMe seats on the signup page as well as within the Subscription section of the web portal.
